As You Enter The Worship Center

Our Welcome Center will be immediately to your left should you have any questions or special needs. Ushers are available to assist you in finding seating.

During Service

We welcome our first time guests. We won’t put you on the spot or call you to the front. We will provide you with any information you need and we just ask that you fill out and turn in our connection card to help us keep record of your visit with us.

Our Worship Service

Our 11:00 a.m. Worship Services incorporate band-driven full-spectrum worship. You’ll hear both current and traditional hymns recreated in a new way to allow the songs of our faith to be sung in a way that is relevant to today’s society. The sermon, delivered by Pastor Marple Lewis, is relevant, creative and charging. In all of our worship services, our main focus is that you would come in and be a part of worshiping God, singing to the audience of one.

How far in advance should I arrive?

Allow half an hour, especially if you are checking in children into their services. Each of the services are about 75 minutes.

What should I wear?

At FBCBH, we encourage you to come as you are. In case you are wondering, most people attend wearing business-casual attire. Don’t be surprised if you see very few suits and ties, as well as people wearing jeans. God sees our heart and that’s what He cares about; it’s not about the style of clothing we choose.

What about my kids?

Childcare is provided at FBCBH on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. This enables parents to attend both a worship service and Bible Class on Sunday. For children five and older a Bible class time is provided for them when you are attending yours.

Praise Team

Our Praise Team strives to create a worship environment that engages people of ages. It’s our goal to unify the body in the worship of Christ.

Men’s Ensemble

Our men’s vocal ensemble spreads the love of Christ through four-part arrangements of familiar favorites.

The Strength team is a group of professional athletes who use feats of strength to perform motivational assemblies all over the world. These positive programs impact thousands of students and schools helping to build a bridge. Using these programs allows the Strength Team to invite students to evening outreaches at host churches where they use bigger feats of strength, testimony, and share the salvation message of Jesus Christ. Last year there were over 42,000 decisions for Christ!

Heirborne will be performing

“LAST CHANCE”

at First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills

The Heirborne Drama Team is a high school group that combines contemporary Christian music and mime and interpretative movement to present the message of Jesus Christ in a very unique way. the group brings their ministry to regular church services and is involved in other services throughout our area. They also present a full-length program each year here and at other churches. The interpretation and passion provided by this team will move your heart and send you seeking the face of God

1. Profession of faith and baptism – Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and following through with believer’s baptism.
2. Transfer of membership by letter from another Southern Baptist church.
3. Statement of faith from another Bible-Believing Church.

Before becoming a full member of the church, each candidate must complete a new member’s class and be presented to the church for affirmation.

We celebrate Compassion Sunday on every month with a fifth Sunday. This is a day where members and attendees of FBCBH are willing to sacrifice the comfort of their own worship service to take “church” to the community. On Compassion Sunday, teams of Christ-followers visit our homebound members and residents of local nursing homes, during regular worship hours, to those who can no longer attend church for worship.

In addition, there are Compassion Teams that visit people in our community who have fallen on tough times and we show God’s love by helping someone meet a need, generally by doing yard work or a home repair. Each Compassion Sunday could be different– we never know!

Because worship leaders are on the mission field for Compassion Sunday, regular worship services are not  held in our Worship Center.
