ACTIVITIES
Our motto is "Keep 'em too busy to sin." Well, not really, but there's some truth to that.
Last summer, we attended the Word of Life Youth Camp in Hudson, Florida. Youth enjoyed
Super Bowl
Word of Life also sponsors an annual event called "Super Bowl." November 2nd, we'll spend all night in Orlando watching the Magic play basketball, then going to a couple of other locations for games, activities, food, etc., before returning home on Saturday morning.
Youth Rallies
In between these big events, we have local events like Youth Rallies at local churches. It's great to meet teenagers from other churches and other schools, in a lively atmosphere of recreation and worship.
Lock-ins
Additionally, we sponsor events right here in Beverly Hills, like the Friday night "Lock-in" last August, "Family Fun Day" a Sunday afternoon event for the entire church, and Fall Festival, another church-wide event on Halloween night.
CLASSES
Recently, we expanded our ministry into separate classes for High School and Middle School. Both Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, these groups meet separately for games, discussion and Bible study.
Youth Band
We are actively searching for musicians to form a band to lead the youth in praising the Lord on Wednesday nights. Guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, and back-up vocals will be part of this.
