| Women on Mission: Women meet monthly for fellowship and fun, creating projects that help and support local and global missions. Brotherhood Breakfast: Men (and sometimes ladies are special guests) meet the third Saturday morning each month for breakfast fellowship in the church fellowship hall. Special guests are occasionally invited to speak. Future plans for the Brotherhood is to assist senior church members with special needs. Love and Care Bereavement Ministry: Love and Care ministry prepares meals for church members grieving the loss of an immediate family member. It’s just one way to provide comfort during sorrow. Food Pantry: Because we care, First Baptist Church offers benevolent assistance in food and grocery products, instead of cash. We want to help to people in their temporary need. It is the love of Christ that leads us to have compassion for others. It is our hope to be able to meet a permanent need and guide people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, where He satisfies eternal thirst and hunger. Assimilation Ministry: People attend churches not only to worship God, but to build relationships with other Christian people. The Assimilation Ministry seeks to connect people to fellowship events, Bible Studies and ministries where relationships are built. Church Library: First Baptist Church is proud of our library, primarily because we are proud of our efficient librarians who seek to provide an wide variety of spiritual reading and audio material to assist any disciple in his or her walk with Christ. |
