Our Core Values

Worship
Above all, we value authentic, passionate worship of the living God that is sensitive to the Spirit and guided by the Truth. Our love relationship with God must come first.
Fellowship
We value unity, love, and support within the church body. We exist as a family to show God’s love so others will come to know Christ. We are to be a people of love for one another.
Discipleship
Becoming a believer is just the beginning of a life-long journey. Teaching God’s Word and equipping God’s people are at the core of all we do. We exist to make followers of Christ.
Ministry
We value servant-leadership as modeled by Jesus Christ. We believe every member of our family is called and gifted by God to minister in and through God’s church. We are committed to helping people find and fulfill the ministry God has for them.
Evangelism
We desire to see people become followers of Christ in our community and around the world. Growing God’s Kingdom through reaching the unchurched is central to all we do.

Our Committed Practices

Means of Communications
God has given believers two primary means to communicate with Him; Bible study and prayer. We are committed to the use of these opportunities, both individually and corporately, to communicate with Him.
Prayer
We value the need for God’s people to talk to their Father. We need Gods wisdom, comfort, and power to accomplish His purpose. These are only received through genuine and passionate prayer.
Bible Study
The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to us, His people. We value the time we have to study His Word and are committed to understanding it and using it to guide our lives.

Ordinances
An ordinance is an authoritative decree or direction. We hold that Jesus Christ gave two such decrees or “ordinances” to the church. They are Baptism and The Lord's Supper. The church was specifically commanded to continue doing these two things until he returns. These are two significant symbols of our faith.

Baptism
Baptism follows an individual’s decision to become a Christian. It is a symbolic act serving as a public profession of faith for every Christian. The immersion of the individual during the act of baptism is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and serves to remind us of the inward act of cleansing already completed through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Lord’s Supper
Commonly referred to as communion today, the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus himself and is meant to remind us of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross for our salvation. The Lord’s Supper is a special meal which symbolizes the body and blood of Christ and is available to all believers in Christ. It does not give grace for salvation, but it does provide focus for our faith until the return of Jesus himself.
